Operation:
Adjust & Adapt

To all secret CO-OPERATE agents in the field, the Family Bootcamp has received intelligence that a very lethal terrorist cell is planning an attack on your relationships - perhaps as early as this weekend. The terrorist goes by the name Stress.

Intelligence:

Family Bootcamp intelligence has confirms that there are long term ties between Stress and negative marital outcomes. Sources have confirmed that a couple's interaction with each other is negatively affected by Stress.  Stress hinders their ability to adjust and adapt to the various changes he brings. One report noted that the variety of attacks Stress launches on  relationships affect a couple’s ability to adjust and adapt in other areas of their relationship, such as the capacity of one to provide social support to their mate - or the grace normally given to one’s mate for undesirable behavior.

Mission:

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to identify the terrorist attack that Stress might launch against your mates, adjust your attitude and adapt your behavior to counter his attack, and eliminate the affects Stress has on your mate.

T.O.P (Tactical Operations Plan):

1) To identify the Stress in your relationship, ask open ended questions to find out where Stress is attacking your mate. Stress can be identified as the entity or issue that negatively affects your mate's physical, mental, or emotional well-being.

2) Once you identify Stress, adjust your attitude in preparation for your counterattack (this step is really to help you prepare for the fight).

3) Next, adjust your behavior to counterattack Stress’ affects on your mate.

4) Lastly, eliminated the negative affects of Stress from your mate by either solving the issue yourself, providing a change of scenery or topic, or just attentively listening to him/her vent. Demonstrate patience.  Make sure he/she knows that you have care about them. Do whatever you have to do to eliminate it!

You have exactly 7 days to accomplish your mission. Post your situation report (sit-rep) on the Family Bootcamp Facebook page.

This CO-OPERATE mission is top-secret. Your mate must never detect you attempting to eliminate the terrorist Stress. If you get caught, the Family Bootcamp will disavow any knowledge of your involvement or the mission. Good luck...and may God be with you.
